Beeld Children's Fund (NPO 003-982)

AccTech System's has been actively involved in this project through sponsorship and assistance in Fund Raising Drives. The main form of Income for the Children's fund is through Corporate Golf Day's. In December 2006 AccTech Systems, raised a total of R50 000 for the Children's fund with the first Children's Fund Golf day held in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Province.

In 2008, AccTech once again held a regional golf day on behalf of the Beeld Children's fund and managed to raise a total of R82 000 for the Children's fund.

75% of the children supported through the Beeld Children's Fund are from previously disadvantaged communities. The Children's Fund uses the money raised for the following projects:

• Physical and Spiritual care of PDI children in Children's Homes, and at Community projects; Feedings schemes;
• School readiness programs;
• Therapeutic services to traumatised children;
• Life enriching excursions and camps;
• Study bursaries;
• Development programs for the disabled;
• Programs for creative use of leisure for children in poor and high risk communities;
• Day care for infants that was left without care;
• Babies and children with HIV/ AIDS.

AccTech provides marketing support for all the 4 regional golf days held by the Children's Fund. We assist in providing Photographic services, multi-media presentations and print work for the specific golf days.

AccTech also supports the Children's fund with the design, hosting and maintenance of the Children's fund website - www.beeldkinderfonds.co.za
