Africa's leading digital media entertainment provider has opted to deploy Microsoft Enterprise Project Management 2010 as their enterprise project management collaboration solution. The rollout will be the very first deployment of the Project 2010 solution on the African continent, and it will be carried out by the continent's leading Microsoft EPM Partner, AccTech Systems.
"Managing projects in a digital media company are at times, much more complex than the normal run of the mill projects," says the organisation's IT Transformation Manager. "We were already successfully running Microsoft Project 2003, and as such opting for the latest release was the obvious technology choice. AccTech's experience and rapid deployment methodology also made the choice of deployment partner an easy one."
"One of the biggest benefits of selection Microsoft Project 2010 as a solution will be the visibility and insight the customer will gain on all their projects," says Tertius Zitzke, Chief Executive Officer at AccTech Systems. "If you can manage the executive visibility on a project, the insight will follow and that will ultimately lead to complete financial control over all the on-going projects," says Zitzke.
"In opting for the latest Microsoft Office suite, the customer has invested in a set of solutions based on leading edge architecture. We are extremely proud to be part of the first rollout of Microsoft Project 2010. Seeing the benefits already visible at the customer makes us very excited for the future of Microsoft's Project Management solutions in the market," says Zitzke.
